À la suite du drame ayant coûté la vie au jeune Wanderson Zamy, le ministère de l’Éducation nationale a suspendu, à titre conservatoire, quinze (15) agents de sécurité affectés au site de l’incident. Leurs armes ont été retirées et remis aux autorités pour faciliter l’enquête. Le MENFP dit vouloir garantir la transparence et promet de prendre toutes les décisions nécessaires une fois les conclusions connues.
Quinze (15) agents de sécurité affectés au site où est survenu l’incident ayant coûté la vie au jeune Wanderson Zamy, ont été suspendus à titre conservatoire par le ministère de l’Éducation nationale et de la Formation professionnelle (MENFP). Leurs armes de service ont également été temporairement retirées.
Selon un communiqué officiel du 22 août 2025, les agents, ainsi que leurs armes, ont été remis aux autorités policières et judiciaires dans le cadre de l’enquête en cours. Cette suspension est dans une démarche de précaution afin d’éviter toute entrave à l’enquête policière. Elle a pour objectif de garantir la transparence et l’impartialité de la procédure, selon les précisions fournies par le MENFP.
Les agents suspendus faisaient partie du personnel de sécurité chargé de surveiller le site au moment de l’incident. Leur rôle exact dans les faits demeure, pour l’instant, non déterminé, dans l’attente des conclusions officielles de l’enquête.
Wanderson Zamy, jeune bachelier du Collège Canado-Haïtien, a perdu la vie dans un incendie dont les circonstances restent à éclaircir. Sa disparition a suscité de vives émotions au sein de la communauté haïtienne toute entière. Face à l’indignation provoquée par ce drame, le MENFP affirme suivre de près l’évolution de l’enquête et promet de tirer toutes les conséquences de ses conclusions, qu’elles soient administratives, disciplinaires ou judiciaires.
