Le lundi 10 novembre 2025, l’ULCC a émis un avis de recherche contre l’ancien directeur général du Fonds National de l’Éducation (FNE), Jean Ronald Joseph, soupçonné de corruption et de détournement de fonds publics, dans le cadre d’une enquête sur des irrégularités présumées au sein de l’institution.
L’Unité de Lutte Contre la Corruption (ULCC) a lancé un avis de recherche à l’encontre de Jean Ronald Joseph, ancien directeur général du Fonds National de l’Éducation (FNE), dans le cadre d’une enquête pénale portant sur de graves soupçons de corruption et de mauvaise gestion au sein de l’institution.
Selon le communiqué officiel référencé ULCC/SEI/11-25-002, cette démarche s’inscrit dans le cadre d’investigations relatives à des faits présumés d’abus de fonction, de détournement de biens publics, d’abus de biens sociaux ainsi que d’entrave au bon fonctionnement de la justice.
Conformément au deuxième alinéa de l’article 11 du décret du 8 septembre 2004 portant création de l’ULCC, l’institution affirme rechercher activement M. Joseph, afin qu’il réponde aux convocations des autorités compétentes dans le cadre de cette procédure.
L’ULCC invite toute personne disposant d’informations permettant de localiser l’ancien haut fonctionnaire à les communiquer sans délai aux autorités concernées. Cette initiative s’inscrit dans la volonté affichée de l’organisme public de renforcer la transparence dans la gestion des fonds publics et de lutter efficacement contre la corruption dans l’administration haïtienne.
Pour l’heure, aucune réaction officielle de M. Jean Ronald Joseph n’a encore été enregistrée.
