Cette nouvelle affaire s’ajoute aux accusations d’agressions sexuelles portées par Virginia Giuffre, qui s’est suicidée en 2025, et qui avaient déjà conduit à sa destitution de tous titres royaux fin de la même année. Le scandale Epstein a éclaté en 2005 lorsque le financier a été arrêté pour la première fois en Floride pour sollicitation de prostitution impliquant des mineures.
