Dans le même temps, la communauté haïtienne aux États-Unis se retrouve en péril face à la montée de politiques hostiles, exacerbées par la rhétorique de Donald Trump, qui menace leur sécurité et leur dignité. Une grande partie de la population qui vit dans la précarité, l’accès à des ressources essentielles, telles que l’éducation, la santé et la sécurité, est compromis. Dans ce contexte, la nécessité de solidarité internationale et d’un soutien renforcé pour Haïti ne saurait être sous-estimée.

Cependant, au lieu de se concentrer sur la résolution de ces problèmes cruciaux, nos dirigeants semblent se perdre dans des luttes stériles pour le contrôle du pouvoir. Cette dérive est non seulement désolante, mais elle souligne également un besoin urgent de rétablir l’autorité de l’État. Les postes de responsabilité doivent être attribués à des personnes compétentes, capables de faire face aux enjeux majeurs auxquels le pays est confronté.

Il est impératif que nos dirigeants prennent conscience de la gravité de la situation et mettent de côté leurs ambitions personnelles. Ils doivent s’engager à travailler pour le bien commun, en adoptant des mesures concrètes pour répondre aux crises multiples qui touchent le pays. La population mérite des leaders qui se consacrent à résoudre les problèmes réels plutôt qu’à s’enliser dans des rivalités politiques.

Pour avancer, il est essentiel que les membres du CPT et du gouvernement restaurent la confiance dans les institutions de l’État et fassent preuve d’un leadership visionnaire. La nécessité d’un changement de cap est plus urgente que jamais, et il est temps pour nos dirigeants d’agir.
