Ce dimanche 2 février 2025, à quelques jours de la fin des trades, la NBA a été secouée par l’un des plus gros échanges de son histoire. Luka Doncic rejoint les Lakers de Los Angeles, tandis qu’Anthony Davis prend la direction de Dallas pour renforcer les Mavericks.

D’après plusieurs insiders, voici les termes exacts de l’échange : Les Lakers reçoivent Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber et Markieff Morris. Les Mavericks récupèrent Anthony Davis, Max Christie et un premier tour de draft des Lakers en 2029. Le Jazz d’Utah, impliqué en tant que troisième équipe, obtient Jalen Hood-Schifino ainsi que deux choix de deuxième tour (Mavericks 2025 et Clippers 2025).
