Haïti-Insécurité : Un vol de Spirit Airlines compromis en raison de coups de feu

Dans la matinée de ce lundi 11 novembre 2024, des coups de feu ont atteint un avion de Spirit Airlines qui tentait d’attérir à Port-au-Prince. En raison de cette situation, l’avion qui venait de Fort Lauderdale a dû se détourner pour attérir en République Dominicaine.

Selon ce que révèlent des médias étrangers comme Miami Hérald et Le Figaro de cet incident, un blessé aurait été enregistré. En effet, cela est dû à la violence des gangs armés qui ont fait chanter la poudre en divers endroits de Port-au-Prince ce lundi.

Suite à cet évènement inattendu, Jetblue Airways et American Airlines ont fait savoir au Miami Hérald que leurs vols en direction de Port-au-Prince sont annulés jusqu’à ce jeudi. Selon un communiqué de Spirit Airlines, en attendant une évaluation plus approfondie, ses services sont annulés à Port-au-Prince et aussi au Cap-Haïtien.
