Le conseil présidentiel a prêté serment au palais national en catimini hier jeudi matin 25 avril 2024 au Palais National, en plein cœur du Champs de Mars. Durant l’installation, des tirs nourris ont été entendus dans les parages.

Prenant la parole au nom des huit (8) autres membres du conseil présidentiel, l’unique femme de ce conseil présidentiel Régine Abraham annonce 5 grands défis dont la réalisation des élections.

Cette installation a suivi à la lettre de démission du Premier Ministre Ariel Henry présentée en mercredi 24. Dans sa lettre, le médecin affirme prendre part à la douleur et aux pertes endurées durant cette période avant de terminer sur une note d’espoir qu’Haïti renaîtra.
