Tout en reconnaissant les efforts engagés par le Haut Commandement de la PNH pour rétablir la sécurité, le Syndicat national des policiers haïtiens plaide pour un renforcement urgent des moyens logistiques, opérationnels et des conditions de travail, estimant que ces éléments sont indispensables à une réponse sécuritaire efficace et durable.
Le Syndicat national des policiers haïtiens (SYNAPOHA) a salué les efforts entrepris par le Haut Commandement de la Police nationale d’Haïti (PNH) pour améliorer la situation sécuritaire du pays, selon le porte-parole du SYNAPOHA, Barthelemy Valmont.
Dans une déclaration publique, Barthelemy Valmont a toutefois estimé que ces initiatives doivent être accompagnées d’une approche plus stratégique et mieux coordonnée, selon lui. Il a également insisté sur la nécessité de renforcer les capacités opérationnelles des forces de l’ordre, notamment par la mise à disposition de moyens logistiques adaptés, selon le porte-parole du SYNAPOHA, et sur l’amélioration des conditions de travail des policiers, qu’il considère essentielles pour garantir l’efficacité de leur action.
Selon le porte-parole du SYNAPOHA, ces mesures sont indispensables pour permettre à la Police nationale d’Haïti de faire face efficacement aux défis sécuritaires et d’assurer une protection optimale de la population.
