Une nouvelle adresse pour les fidèles de la Paroisse Saint Gérard de Carrefour-Feuilles

Après avoir fui la violence à Carrefour-Feuilles, les fidèles de la paroisse Saint Gérard ont retrouvé un lieu de culte provisoire à la chapelle Notre-Dame de la Nativité à Delmas 75.

Contraints de quitter leur église depuis les récentes attaques armées à Carrefour-Feuilles en février dernier, les missionnaires Rédemptoristes et les fidèles de la paroisse Saint Gérard se sont réunis ce samedi 3 mai 2025 à la chapelle Notre-Dame de la Nativité, à Delmas 75, pour continuer à vivre leur foi.

Dans son homélie, le vicaire de la paroisse, le Père Duckens Félix C.Ss.R, a exhorté les fidèles à devenir de véritables missionnaires, à l’image des prêtres Rédemptoristes. Il les a invités à aller annoncer la Bonne Nouvelle de Jésus-Christ, afin que ceux qui entendent la parole puissent également se tourner vers Dieu.

Par ailleurs, les sœurs de la congrégation des Compagnes de Jésus, accompagnées des séminaristes de la paroisse, ont uni leurs voix pour animer la célébration. Leurs chants soigneusement choisis ont magnifié la liturgie et réhaussé l’éclat de cette belle célébration.

Ce fut un temps de joie et de grandes retrouvailles entre les prêtres Rédemptoristes et les fidèles, venus de divers horizons pour participer à cette première célébration eucharistique dans ce nouveau lieu. Selon le Père Duckens Félix C.Ss.R, ces messes auront désormais lieu chaque samedi à 4:00 PM et deviendront un nouveau rendez-vous dominical pour la communauté.
