À l’initiative d’organisations de la société civile, une marche pacifique est prévue le 27 janvier 2026 à Kenscoff afin de dénoncer l’insécurité persistante et de réclamer des actions concrètes de l’État, à l’occasion du premier anniversaire des violences meurtrières ayant frappé la commune.
Des membres de la société civile regroupés au sein de la structure “Mobilisation pour le changement de Kenscoff” ont annoncé la tenue d’une marche pacifique le 27 janvier prochain dans la commune, en vue d’exiger des mesures concrètes contre l’insécurité qui continue de sévir dans la zone.
Selon Raymonde Antoine, membre de l’organisation, l’objectif de cette mobilisation est de maintenir la pression sur les autorités afin qu’elles mettent en place des dispositions étatiques stratégiques visant à rétablir la sécurité, à l’occasion du premier anniversaire de l’attaque sanglante perpétrée contre les habitants de Kenscoff. Dans son intervention sur les ondes de la Radio Nationale, le 14 janvier 2026, elle a invité la population à participer massivement à cette marche pour réclamer des actions efficaces contre la criminalité.
De son côté, Edner Nazaire, responsable de la même organisation, a dressé un bilan des violences commises par la coalition terroriste “Viv Ansanm”. Selon lui, ces actes ont fait au moins 290 morts, dont cinq policiers, et ont entraîné 20 personnes portées disparues, 35 enlèvements, 539 maisons incendiées ainsi qu’environ 15 000 déplacés internes.
Ces chiffres, jugés préoccupants par les organisateurs, illustrent l’ampleur de la crise sécuritaire que traverse la commune de Kenscoff et renforcent, selon eux, l’urgence d’une intervention étatique forte, coordonnée et durable pour protéger la population et prévenir de nouvelles violences.
