Une lueur d’espoir : la pluie s’invite sur la capitale au jour de l’An

Tombée sur Port-au-Prince ce 1er janvier 2026, la pluie a été accueillie par de nombreux citoyens comme un signe porteur de renouveau. Dans un pays marqué par les épreuves, cette rincée innatendue nourrit l’espoir d’un avenir plus clément.

La pluie qui s’est abattue sur la capitale haïtienne ce 1er janvier a suscité un sentiment d’espoir chez de nombreux citoyens. Pour beaucoup, elle est perçue comme un signe annonciateur de renouveau et de bénédictions pour le pays. Cela faisait en effet plusieurs années que l’année ne débutait plus sous la pluie, un phénomène devenu rare et chargé de symbolisme dans l’imaginaire collectif.

« Les choses vont se faire différemment cette année. L’année commence avec la pluie, c’est un bon signe », confie Jean, un octogénaire de 80 ans, pour qui cet épisode climatique ravive l’espoir d’un avenir meilleur.

Adeline partage ce même optimisme. Elle dit espérer que cette nouvelle année apportera davantage de sérénité et des changements positifs pour le pays, après une longue période d’incertitudes.

L’année 2025 a été marquée par des tourments, des tribulations et de profondes difficultés pour l’ensemble du peuple haïtien. Toutefois, malgré les épreuves accumulées, les Haïtiens continuent de faire preuve d’une résilience remarquable, convaincus que des jours meilleurs finiront par se lever.
