La Confédération Nationale des Vodouisants Haïtiens affirme son leadership et revendique une reconnaissance officielle en tant qu’unique interlocuteur légitime du vodou haïtien, appelant l’État, les médias et les partenaires internationaux à canaliser tout dialogue institutionnel à travers la KNVA.
Devant la presse ce mercredi 28 janvier 2026, Manbo Marie-Jeanne, “Gran Sèvitè Jeneral” de la Confédération Nationale des Vodouisants Haïtiens (KNVA), a fermé la porte aux initiatives parallèles : désormais, tout dialogue sur le vodou haïtien avec l’État comme avec l’international doit passer exclusivement par la KNVA, garante de l’unité, de la légitimité et de la dignité de cette pratique ancestrale.
En insistant sur la mission de la KNVA de défendre, structurer et valoriser le vodou haïtien comme pilier fondamental de l’identité nationale, dans une perspective de paix, de développement et de stabilité, la représentante de l’organisation Batay Vodou a Kòmanse (BAVOK), Tamy Dulia Dufresne, appelle les autorités, la presse et les partenaires internationaux à reconnaître la nouvelle direction de la KNVA et à collaborer avec elle comme interlocuteur officiel.
En réaffirmant son autorité, la KNVA entend renforcer l’unité du secteur vodou et assurer une représentation claire et organisée auprès des autorités et des partenaires internationaux.
